This is my presumption that those taking up Linux hardly bother about whats happening in the outside world or to the economy. They are there because they like doing what they are doing
Frankly I was never formally introduced to Linux as such, even in my college days Microsoft was everywhere(no special disliking for the OS ). I never thought of the market value or the trend in market that will fetch me a job as soon as pass out. It's all in the attitude. One thing is for sure that no one can force Linux on to someone, it's all out there u want to take it.. take it or leave it
Those taking up will work their way up irrespective of what happens from installation, setting up env for development, troubleshooting .. and believe me now a days doing all these are a cake walk when compared to some prehistoric era when yum, apt where not there
Open-source tip: Require less developer time to earn more of it
"There is a couple living nearby who my wife and I try to avoid at all costs. It's not that we don't like them, it's just that they consume so much of our time. We know that saying "hi" is tantamount to opening a filibuster-proof, hour-long conversation, so we try to evade that initial communication."
Has ASUS all but given up on linux?
"The entire range was there, from ultra-portable, touch screen netbooks to high-end, quad core Lamborghinis (I'm not joking). Even Windows Vista was there. There was only one thing missing -- Linux."

Believe your own instinct and rely on that.. at times it may falter but don't worry since it's your own life that you are putting at stake and believe me it won't last for long.

Who in this world is without shortcommings? It's no different for BSNL's dataone, but one thing I am damn sure is that I won't replace it with any other BB service provider.. reason .. I have fallen in love with the way they provide round the clock service that a typical Indian (like me :)) would expect them to ..
- frequent disconnection
- support desk will respond only after 5 to 6 calls
- speed is good
- expect the most unexpected i.e promptness
With all these I JUST LOVE OUR NATIONAL TREASURE - BSNL
Happy browsing with dataone
People do think that being demanding or having a lure for certain thing is not wrong.. It's true but only when it is confined to that certain matter. Now that is restrainAlways keep in mind that the real thing(s) in life is not atall real. It's really within you not anything that resides out of your body.
It's just a matter of time that will fetch you result but no one can deside on how much of time is assigned for a particular task unless or until that task have been done previously...
